The day-long festivities get underway with a Self-Care Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Student Center. Throughout the day yoga, therapy dogs, religious organizations, student organizations and non-profits as well as a relaxing massage chair will be available to help unwind and enjoy a mental health break from daily routines.
Participants are encouraged to visit representatives from Women’s Protective Services, Catholic Charities of Lubbock, Voices of Hope, Buckner International, South Plains Rural Health/Health Department, Atheist Community of Lubbock, Unitarian Universalist Church, SPC Tutoring Center, StarCare, Baptist Student Ministry, SPeCtra, Workforce Solutions, Early Learning Centers, Lubbock Impact, SPC Health and Wellness, Open Door and Gr8 Smiles.
